Winter's grip, still tight...

Last night we had another 8-10 inches of snow. The pictures below are from a few weeks ago, but they do tell a story! I spent some of my day off today clearing off as much snow as I could from my roof. Last nights snow was heavy and there is a real danger of roof damage or worst, caving in when there is that much snow on them. So, I was on my roof for two and a half hours getting rid of as much as I could. The news said we have had more snow this year than any other time in recorded history... at least since the late 18 hundreds. I believe them! I so look forward to moving back to the South in about three years (when my step-daughter Molli graduates high school). Tina and I are looking around the Lake Norman area of North Carolina. We plan on taking a week in late April and visiting the area. We will also take a day to go to South Carolina to visit my 90 plus year old grandmother. She's a very special person in my life and has been a very loving and supporting force throughtout my life as well. Tonight, we have the movie 30 days of night to watch. I've been wanting to see this movie ever since the trailer came out for it. Imagine, 30 days of darkness and vampires going crazy! Ought to be good! Just a side bar commerical for Netflix... there are several movie rental places out there, but I have been very pleased with Netflix. They have so many movies to choose from that you will never want for a good movie. Shipped right to your door and the turn around is very quick. Keep it as long as you want with no late fees. For people who watch a lot of movies, it is the way to go. Trust me, we watch ALOT of movies! Check out the link at the bottom of the page if you're interested.

ALOT is an understatement for the amount of movies you guys watch! Lol! Seriously with the snow! I think this might be the end of the world Frank! Who knew the apocolypse would come in the form of another ice age! Lol! But, for real, how much more of this can we really take? Took me an hour to drive home last night in white out conditions. I am really beginning to hate New Hampshire!!!! P.s. You're right about Netflix, they're awesome!!
