Another in a long line of "end of the world" type movies. The teaser trailer doesn't give a lot of information, but it does look interesting. The reason I will watch this movie is John Cusack. He's one of my favorite actors and the film Identity which he starred in with Ray Liotta and Amanda Plummer is one of my favorites! Amanda Plummer stars with him in this film as well. I find these type of movies interesting because people are actually looking for a reason for the world to end. Eminent doom seems to be a human instinct, maybe it is for survival... I don't know. Either way, this ought to be a pretty good movie. It comes to theaters sometime in 2009... well before the end of the world... are you ready???
SYNOPSIS:
A family goes on vacation in December 2012, just as the Mayan calendar is coming to a close. Over the decades, many have prophesied that the world will end when the ancient calendar ceases on Dec. 21, 2012.

I saw the previews for this. It does look pretty good...
I think it should be really good if Cusack is in it!
