My wife Tina and a girl friend of hers went to a car cruise in Hillsboro, NH today which is about and hour and a half from our house. Of course, I had to work, so I was unable to good... Tina's friend has a 1935 Plymouth that her and her husband began to restore before his untimely death. In his honor, she continued to restore it and it is a beautiful car. There are two pictures of it in this post. The other car looks to be a around a 62 or 63 Chevy II. I think this car rocks!!! I loved the boxy look of those cars. My dad had a Chevy II when I was a young boy... it was an early 60's model as well. From what I remember, it was white. I love these old cars. Tina took about 70 pictures of all the cars there and I am so disappointed I couldn't go. She has a picture of a 63 or 65 Impala Chevy that is blue bodied with a white top and looks exactly like the car my friend Mike McComas had when we were in High School. At the same time (middle 70's), I had a 64 Biscayne Chevy. It was lime green and had a glass pack... it sounded A LOT better than it really was. One day, I hope to find another one and restore it. Of course, I'm no mechanic, but hopefully I can afford to have it done! I love classic cars...
This coming Tuesday, Tina and I are going to her friend's house and go for a ride in her 35 Plymouth... I call shotgun! The Plymouth has a 327 Corvette engine in it and can it fly. I'm really excited about getting to ride in it.
