IFC Movie Channel...

For those of you that have this movie channel on your cable or Direct TV, there are a few movies of note this week for you to check out.

Sunday Oct. 26th:
9:30 PMStrangeland
A psychopath (Dee Snider) lures victims on the Internet.
I have seen reviews and the trailer for this movie, but have not seen it as yet. The movie looks twisted... no pun intended, since Dee Snider is the lead singer of Twisted Sister.

Monday Oct. 27th:
9:00 PMThe Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Young adults (Marilyn Burns, Allen Danziger) encounter a demented family of butchers.
This is a really good movie. Creepy and sick! The whole TCM seriers is pretty good for all of us gore hounds out there...

Tuesday Oct. 28th:
12:00 AMThe Return of the Living Dead
Medical suppliers (Clu Gulager, James Karen) confront zombies.
Not the best zombie movie, funny at times, but not all that bad either... come on it "stars" Clu Gulager, what do you expect???

Wednesday Oct. 29th:
9:00 PMScanners
Man (Stephen Lack) with explosive psychic powers hunts others.
Old school horror from 1981. Kind of a fresh original style look at the paranormal.

Thursday Oct. 30th:
9:00 PMA Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream ChildFreddy the slasher (Robert Englund) returns in the dreams of a woman's (Lisa Wilcox) unborn child.

10:30 PMFreddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare
Freddy's (Robert Englund) daughter (Lisa Zane) tries to stop the dream killer.
Not a huge fan of this series, but most of them have been quite entertaining. Scary concept that he can kill you in your dreams.

Friday Oct. 31st:
7:15 PMEaten Alive
Hotel owner (Neville Brand) either feeds guests to alligator or scythes them.
Campy horror from 1977... man, that was a long time ago!!! LOL I graduated from high school that year... what an old fart I am!

8:55 PMThe Burning
Disfigured caretaker with shears haunts summer camp.
I havn't seen this one yeat, but it looks like it could be pretty good. I've looked at it several times on Netflix, but just haven't "Q'ed" it yet.

So if any of these catch your eye, give them a shot... here's the trailer for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre...
